Karl’s Kids is a charitable program of the Damariscotta-Newcastle Rotary Club, conceived by a Rotarian in memory of a Rotarian friend.

About the Damariscotta Newcastle Rotary Club

The Rotary Club of Damariscotta-Newcastle Maine brings together about 60 local business and professional people of diverse backgrounds and interests who engage our communities through service and learning. We provide academic and vocational scholarships, school backpacks filled with school supplies, and athletic equipment to local youth as well as providing financial and hands-on support for local organizations such as Big Brother Big Sister, Skidompha Library, the Food Pantry, Ready to Read and the Y. We also support international efforts to eradicate polio, build schools, provide clean water, promote literacy and peace. We invite speakers to our weekly breakfasts to learn about our community and the world. We live the Rotary motto: “service above self.”

The Damariscotta Newcastle Rotary Club is a member of Rotary International.
